Comments: I love this site. It's a great example of irony.
1. You claim that "This is a prime example of a Pokefreak. Lack of grammar. Ignorance level off the scale and probably worst of all does nothing, but insult me with nothing backing it up", though your site contains literally hundreds of senseless grammatical errors (ie. "there" instead of "their", "it's" instead of "its", "tooken" instead of "taken", "too" instead of "to", etc). Also, contrary to what you might think, not all Pokémon fans are ignorant. You seem to have run in to a large part of the minority, which is, of course, called stereotyping.[Which I have never claimed to do. Go look at the FAQ for more info on that. As fas as the grammar goes, those are relatively minor compared to many of the mistakes Pokefreaks have made when writing to me. Not to mention I was 13(12 if you really want to stretch it) when I started this site. I don't have the time to go through all the mistakes now and correct them.]
2. If you had an idea (much like Satoshi Tajiri), would you be bothered more if it seemed like a rip-off to a small group of people, or if it made you a lot of money? Don't give me any crap about "I wouldn't care about the money". You wouldn't be able to ignore the money you made. You'd be a millionaire.[Who did Pokemon rip-off?]
3. Apparently, by watching the Pokémon Anime, "children are being trained in the occult and other anti-social behaviour". The Vatican has given its official blessing to Pokémon for teaching such great moral values. You can't get much more Christian than the Pope. Also, could you please pinpoint the exact time when Pokémon contained any anti-Christian (or any other religion, for that matter) material, or when it supported the Occult? Didn't think you could.[I can't. I never claimed I could. I can careless what the Catholic Church thinks.]
4. Anti-Pokémon groups have been spoonfed the lie that "the TV show pushed dangerous messages by showing the Pokemon animals fighting each other to the death while their masters watched on". (a) These people obviously have never seen any episode of Pokémon. There has never been a fight-to-the-death on Pokémon. Ever. (b) Pokémon are not "animals", and humans are not their "masters". If I had a penny for every time I heard some Anti-Pokémon random say that, I'd be coughing up Ł50 notes by now. Anyone who has watched the Anime (even the most dim-witted of people) can see that the best Pokémon trainers are friends with their Pokémon, and would never let them get into such a situation.[Okay, why are you telling me this?]
5. Your site contains the words "stupid" and "moron" on almost every page. Become original, please, or at least alternate some adjectives.[Unlike Pokefreaks, I don't want to be offensive. You rather I use ni****, fa****, and Jew?]
6. Fads have never lasted this long, which rules out Pokémon as a "fad". I refer you to the following page, http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=fad : "fad (n.): A fashion that is taken up with great enthusiasm for a brief period of time; a craze." I don't call eight years (and counting) a "brief period of time". And if you do, the planet you're living on obviously has extremely short years.[Pokemon itself has lasted, but has it's mainstream appeal? Nope. I still see Power Rangers around, but are they as popular as they once were?]
7. A snippet from your site: "Pokemon fans are a real bunch of morons. They`ve been zombified by the Pokemon hype. Some these people are 15, 17 years old and there watchin a kids show. Does anybody see something wrong here? Not that there's anythin wrong with it, but it just seems there is so many. I surely doubt there were that many that liked TMNT." (a) Yes, I'm 15. Yes, I'm a Pokémon fan. Yes, I go to a Grammar School. Hence proving that not all Pokémon fans are morons.[Hence the word "some."] (b) For God's sake, stop comparing Pokémon with TMNT, they're completely separate concepts.[They're both FADs. That was the bases for the comparison.]
8. You say that "The show just doesn`t stand close to the concept of the game". There is a reason for this: In the original R/B versions of the game, the three starters were Bulbasaur, Squirtle and Charmander. The producers of the show were not allowed to seem biased to one of these Pokémon, which would probably upset kids if they found out they hadn't picked Ash's starter, which would make them feel left out. Hence the whole "Ash gets Pikachu" saga.[Sounds like a crummy excuse.] Secondly, the game is supposed to be a free-run. You can do whatever you like in the game. If the game was to follow the exact same path as the Anime, the game would become very boring very quickly, and even you can't argue with that one.[Why would the games follow the anime when the games weren't even created yet?]
9. From your Movie Soundtrack Review page (please note that your site is extremely outdated; three other Movies have been released since): "I thought Ash, Brock and Misty were always on a vacation of sorts." I laughed at that for a whole 5 minutes, I really did. And not in the kind way. Also: "When you watch the movie you can clearly see that non of characters are on vacation(atleast I wouldn't call battling Mewtwo a vacation). Unless, they mean "Pikachu's Vacation" I could understand that, however they said these songs were for the movie, not the little feature at the beginning." Two things: (a) If you'd actually paid attention to the Movie (which proves you're actually more ignorant than us), you would've realised that "Vacation" by Vitamin C was played at the very beginning of the film - During the featurette "Pikachu's Vacation".[How does the placement of the song in the film make it more appropriate for the film?] (b) "Pikachu's Vacation" was part of the Movie. That's why you went to that big building called the Cinema to see it.[Um yeah, thanks for the useless info.]
10. Again, from your Sountrack Review page: "I honestly thought this wasn't a bad CD. I like all the songs, but one thing confuses me. Why is the theme song "Don't say you love me"? I mean, there isn't any romance in the movie, and Ash and his Pikachu are just friends." - THIS PERSON DOES NOT SPEAK FOR US. "cindidol" is obviously not a fan of Pokémon, because if he/she was, he/she would know about things like this: http://web.archive.org/web/20010302031920/http://www.aaml.com/ . Sadly the site had to shut down because of hosting problems.[Um, okay.]
11. "I was kelined(sp?) from a chat server cause I acted as if I liked the little shit." - K:lined, my friend. K:lined. An IRC network ban.[Okay, I have now fixed that.]
12. You fail to refer to the link I gave in #10 on your "Anime" page, along with your Rocketshippers paragraph. AAML is as good as proven, however you can't call those people "fools that feel they have to force there beliefs on everybody" (quoted; not a grammatical error in the 8th word).[That's been removed. Thanks anyway.]
And finally (and possibly the best), 13. You claim to have been a Pokémon fan in the past, yet you STILL can't spell "Charizard", "Giovanni" and "Marrill" (see http://www.pokemonsux.com/nitpick.shtml). And don't you dare try to change it now and accuse me of being mistaken, there's a copy on my site, as well as on the Web Archive (http://www.archive.org)[That's nice, but any idiot(one of your favorite adjectives) could see that I gave credit to NitPickers.com for writing those.].
In closing, I would like to say that you made an extremely bad attempt at making an Anti-Pokémon site. I rate it C-, for the reasons noted above. I've seen much better. Much, much better.[And I'm supposed to care what you think.]
