Battle #1 pits Meowth against Dais(from Ronin Warriors)in a battle to the death. Let's us meet are combatants shall we?

Meowth.
With his Japanese name being Nyarth, Nyase, Nyasu, which ever you decide, He is considered the 'Top Cat' of Team Rocket. Only two pokemon in the world can speak in the human language (Japanese, English, or any other dubbing). Mewtwo, being one of the most powerful pokemon, created by scientists, can speak our language. It just came to it. No big deal. Unlike Mewtwo, Meowth taught himself to act like a human, alone. Why? In order to get a female Meowth to like him over a Persian, he wanted to prove to her that he is his own 'master' and that he can act like a human. He learned how to speak the human language, and learned how to walk oh his hind legs. He can also translate what pokemon are saying for humans. In return, the female Meowth was disgusted by this accomplishment, saying that it isn't right for a pokemon to act like a human. What a shame. Another pokemon that can speak is Gastly that guards Maiden's Peak.

Meowth is a gangster.
His american voice sounds like one, and his attitude seems to go with his voice. In Japan, he is also the same guy, but has a more feline tone to his voice. Some people, believe it's a little irritating. Being the gangster that he is, he tends to think for only himself. Of course, he does have a heart, and does have pity every now and then. Especially if the other pokemon is a Meowth!

His owner is the leader of Team Rocket, Giovanni.
When Meowth began to do work with Jessie and James, he lost his popularity with Giovanni and got replaced with a Persian. In return he wishes to prove to his owner that he is worthy, and has also gained a dislike for all Persians. There are times that Meowth has been replaced by a Persian.
1. Giovanni's pet pokemon is no longer him, but a Persian.
2. His crush choses a Persian over him.
3. Cassandra, owner of a Parasect, in which he wants to live with her and become the mascot, choses a Persian to be the mascot instead so he can stay with Team Rocket.

The cat pokemon on Team Rocket is lazy most of the time.
He doesn't usually fight in battles, and when he does, he attacks the other pokemon owner with his Fury Swipe attack. On the other hand, this doesn't mean that he isn't a bad pokemon. He proves he has intellect and defeated a Onix with a water attack. Sure, it was cheating, but remember that in the game a Meowth can learn water attacks with a TM machine. Since this is the case, it wasn't 100% cheating. Due to the fact that he hardly battles, it is one of the reason he has not evolved yet. Another reason may be is because he doesn't want to form into one of the things he dislikes, a Persian.

Meowth travels with Jessie and James.
He loses his temper with them at times, due to their inconsistence and arrogence. From time to time, he actually uses his fury swipes on them. Of course, that results in a beating from the two humans. For the most part, his team travels across the lands to become rich, obtain pokemon for their master, or steal that rare and powerful Pikachu from their rival, Ash Ketchum. Even though they always fail, Meowth sometimes is positive by saying, "Don't think of it as losing. Think of it as not winning!"

What some people may not think, Meowth can be maternal.
The one time in which they managed to steal a rare Pokemon egg, Meowth was the one who voluntered to be with it 24/7. He bathed with it, talked to it, played with it, and attacks James for making ideas of eating the egg and making egg jokes. It proves that Meowth can really care. The one thing that made Meowth come over his fear in battling Pikachu, was to win back Togepi, after it hatched. Sadly, he lost and was being carried away while saying goodbye.

Many viewers of the show forget that Meowth was an original pokemon since he can now talk and is with Team Rocket. He now thinks more on his own, and is much more smarter than other Pokemon, like his fellow comrads, Ekans/Arbok and Koffing/Weezing. Meowth is a cat, he loves fish related food and, of course, balls of yarn.

Meowth is not a normal pokemon.
He actually works more outside battles since he doesn't have his master with him. He is a more independent pokemon. Of course he has Jessie and James, but they can be rather 'hazardous' to one's health. If a person focuses on Meowth, they can realize that he is a great character.

----- Dais is the Dark Warlord of Illusion. He has a patch over one eye, probably a memento from a previous battle. He is commonly associated with spiders, and frequently hangs upside down when in his armor. It is also hinted at that Dais makes many prophecies.

----- Dais is a thinker and a schemer. He was the last of the original four Dark Warlords to face the Ronin Warriors. He likes to draw out plans and make sure they are perfect before he enacts them.

----- Dais, being the most clever of the Warlords is frequently the one to come up with the more elaborate plans.  He has used his powers of illusion to trick the Ronins into attacking each other.  A plot which worked very well.  He also devised a plot to use the Nether Spirits to prevent the Ronin Warriors from being able to call upon their Armors.

----- Talpa called upon Dais to convince Kento that his Armor was evil, and that he should turn against the Ronins and join the Dynasty.  While Dais failed in convincing Kento to join the Dynasty, all of Kento's trust in his Armor had been removed, disabling Kento's ability to use his Armor.

----- Dais was also called upon once to capture Kento and bring him back to the Dynasty Realm.  Kento was able to overpower the Sand Strikers, who were under Dais' leadership, and was about to deal with the Warlord himself.  Dais, thought quickly.  He showed Kento that his friends Sai and Sage were captured.  Kento then went willingly with Dais, believing that he could free his friends.  The fact that he was walking into a trap never dawned on him.

----- Dais, like Kale and Sekhmet, was called upon less and less as Lady Kayura entered the scene.  Dais eventually realized that he was only being used by Talpa and turned to the side of light.  Dais joined with the Ronins in the final battle and fought against his old master, Talpa.

----- Dais' powers and abilities are many indeed. He is probably the most versatile of the Dark Warlords (except for Kayura who attained the powers of both Anubis and The Ancient) in his range of powers.

----- Dais has three weapons available to him at all times. On his right gauntlet he has a morning star (a spiked ball connected to a handle by a long rope or chain). The rope on his morning star can extend to increase the range of his attacks. On his left gauntlet he has a pair of nunchuka. He is very proficient with his nunchucka. He uses them with such power and speed that his opponents do not know what hit them.

----- Dais' special weapon are the six extensor blades attached to his back. He can remove them and use them as a hand weapon. The bars to which the blades are connected can extend and shoot forward at an adversary. Also they can beginning to spin rapidly around the base creating the effect of many powerful staffs spinning around the same access. The blades can also be used with Dais's illusionary powers to create the feelings and sights that reality is being torn apart by the blades and replaced by whatever Dais wants his victims to see.

----- Dais's special attack is "Web of Deception!" In this attack the extensor blades extend forward until they hit something solid (ground, building, people, etc.) When contact is made, many fine white threads of energy fly from the points of contact and begin to ensnare Dais' enemies. He often uses multiple attacks of this nature to create an almost unbreakable web.

----- In addition to his fighting skills and abilities, Dais has many powers of illusion at his disposal. He can alter the terrain so that it appears as whatever he wants it to. He can camouflage himself to match the terrain, making him invisible. He can also change how an individual person perceives the world (ex. Making friends appear as enemies).
