#1. I just don't like it. I have a right to my opinion.

#2. The show just doesn`t stand close to the concept of the game. Ash is a prime example. He didn`t even get 20 Pokemon yet and he get 6 badges. This realy pissed me off, because while playing the game, I would have much more difficulty doing what Ash could. They totally got rid of any dignity that Pokemon had. Furthermore, I hate how Nintendo used the cartooon to target it towards kids. Instead of targeting it toward 9-13 year olds which what the game was intended too. Too bad cause I really liked the Blue and Red games. If it wasn't for the over commercialism and targeting torwards kids I'd probably still like it.

#3. Some(not all) Pokemon fans are a real bunch of morons. They`ve been zombified by the Pokemon hype. Some these people are 15, 17 years old and there watchin a kids show. Does anybody see something wrong here? Not that there's anythin wrong with it, but it just seems there is so many. I surely doubt there were that many that liked TMNT.

#4. Pokemon is a FAD. Don't be tellin me "Pokemon is not a FAD!" BS. Here are three reasons:
(1) The product of Pokemon was marketed out of proportion like any other FAD. Probably even more than Mario in his hay day...
(2) A large number of fans liked Pokemon cause they were following a group. Not b/c they liked it themselves.
(3) I've estimated that Pokemon peaked around November 99 when the movie came out and the Burger King promotion. A year prior to that, the only fast food promotion Pokemon could get is at KFC and one year later they were doin Burger King. When you compare the box office numbers from the first movie to the second movie, you can clearly see that Pokemon has already lost alot of it's fan base. If I recall, the first Pokemon movie debugged at number one where as the second debugged at number three behind horror flick "What lies beneath" and "X-Men"(on a side note the week that Pokemon debugged I saw X-Men. So I thought I was doin my part in killing Pokemon's box office figures). It should also be notted that X-Men was at it's second week unlike Pokemon. "The First Movie" debuged at number one setting a record for first week sales figures for an animated feature or somethin like that. To further back this up well, take a look at this: "According to the Pokégym Warner Brothers indicates that Pokémon anime's popularity has dropped approximately 46% - from 4.6 last season to 2.5 this season". If ya need more proof just look how Pokemon is doin in the Lycos Top 50 compared to just a few years ago.
